The Weed Grandpa is one of the NPCs you encounter on island 4. He appears as an elderly man with a rainbow shirt, red bandana, and inflated eyes. He carries a cane and on further inspection, appears to be smoking a joint, which would explain his odd behavior . He owns a hemp plantation which he ships to the Natives for supplies. Working for him and placing hemp in his storage allows you to buy information. By trading branches, you can also buy cookies (5 branches), juice (15 branches), and Healing Potions (35 branches). Once you collect enough hemp, He'll teach you the language of the natives, which allows you to advance the storyline. Randomly on survival islands, he will appear and trade you common goods for hemp leaves.
When killed, Weed Grandpa drops nothing.
