Bark can be harvested from Trees with any kind of weapon ( that includes your hands ). The best weapon for getting bark out of a tree is a Machete. When combined with a single Branch, Bark can be used in the making of fire when the player does not have Flint. Bark can also be searched, for a chance of getting insects or slime.
